Behind the Design: Lityolm takes its name from the Old Norse litr — "color," the same root behind the Litir collection — joined with hjálmr, "helm," the word behind its sibling Yalm. Color and helm: it's the dense, stacked helm weave of Yalm rendered in bright color-coated aluminum instead of dark iron. Same architecture, different face — structured, deliberate, and a lot less quiet about it.
Quick Answers
What is a chainmail bracelet?
A chainmail bracelet is built from individually connected metal rings, forming a flexible, interlocked structure rather than a solid or woven piece.
Is the bracelet flexible or rigid?
Chainmail is flexible, but less flexible than standard chain link. It moves naturally with the wrist, but forcing it into tight angles can damage the structure
Is this bracelet handmade?
Yes. Each ring is placed and connected by hand, creating the final structure.
How do you open and close the toggle clasp?
Slide the bar through the ring to open. To close, pass the bar back through the ring and rotate it so it rests across the opening.
Tip: Keep slight tension on the bracelet when closing to help hold the bar in place.
